What is financial planning?
Financial Planning is a very personal matter. It is a long term relationship and commitment on the part of the financial planner and the client, listening to and understanding your situation, with genuine interest in you and those who are important to you.
Your needs and goals will change over time and everyone's financial situation is different. Like all advice, the financial plans we produce for you are unique and bespoke, individually tailored to suit your particular needs, and thoroughly impartial.
Your financial planning strategy will define your objectives, and regular reviews will measure your progress towards meeting those objectives; for example retirement planning or creating growth and income from investments.
Financial Planning is not about buying or being sold products. It is about planning for the life you want whether it be retirement, growing your business, passing assets to family or other areas such as protecting your family or business colleagues in the event of ill health or death, and providing for quality care in later life.
We will endeavour to source and recommend suitable products that may be required to help you achieve your goals. Cash flow analysis tools are used and provide a framework to help you understand the risk and reward of the options you have available. We can show scenarios so that you can better understand the implications of the choices that you have available.
Your resources may be such that you can achieve all your lifetime goals without taking any risk at all.
You may require a more comprehensive financial planning service with agreed and regular review meetings and valuations, or a less complex 'custodial type' service with only valuations and perhaps on request an occasional review meeting.
Either way, we assure you of personal care and attention, embracing modern technology coupled with traditional values.
