In Case of Emergency
27th February 2018
How often have we said “if I knew that was going to happen I would have”...? Emergencies by their very nature can’t be predicted and we have found that they have left some of our client’s in quite a pickle.
If a loved one is involved in an accident or an elderly parent is rushed to hospital with a fall or if a family member passes away there is information you need to know and quickly.
We have developed “In Case of Emergency” (ICE) to allow you to hold all your key information in one place so should anything happen to you, those closest to you can find it easily and in the case of death it makes the process easier at a difficult time.
It holds information such as:
- · Emergency contacts and Key Professionals
- · Details regarding your home, cars, pets and insurances
- · Information of where your money and investments are held
- · Details of money you may have gifted in case this affects your care entitlement or your Will
- · And for those who wish, information on your funeral requests
Some of these topics can be difficult to talk about but we hope this pack will help you to express what you want and what those around you need to know.
Of course, we will be on hand to help you and those close to you, in any way possible in such an event, but these packs will provide all the information they may need to ensure that processes can run as smoothly as possible and everyone can focus on what is really important.
Your Financial Planner will be offering you an ICE pack at your annual review. If you would like to request one in the meantime please contact us 01749 670087 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
